Presentation :

Vincent Couche, a winemaker established in the Côte des Bar region, cultivates his vineyards using both organic farming and biodynamic practices. For this nature enthusiast and wine expert, it is a natural choice. Dedicated to excellence, he strives to make each cuvée an outstanding expression of his craft.

The estate is spread across two communes in the Aube department. In Montgueux, Vincent cultivates a 3-hectare south-facing Chardonnay vineyard on chalky soils. In Buxeuil, the estate comprises 12 hectares of vineyards, predominantly planted with Pinot Noir.

Preserving and enhancing the natural ecosystem by reintroducing diverse flora and fauna into the vineyards is one of Vincent’s key priorities. This commitment led him to introduce chickens and later sheep into his vineyards as early as 2015. He further promotes biodiversity through agroforestry, planting 250 heritage fruit trees—including apple, medlar, plum, and quince varieties—among the vineyard rows.

Vincent has extended his biodiversity initiatives by acquiring an Ecocert-certified organic forest, with the aim of creating a natural reserve in close proximity to the vineyard.
