Champagne Fresne Ducret is an independent estate in the Premier Cru village of Villedommange that has been in the Fresne family for 140 years. Pierre Fresne has been at the helm since 2006 and has made it his mission to restore the traditions of his forefathers: he built a pressing centre and winery to re-establish his status as an independent grower (after 50 years with a cooperative); he eliminated herbicides and reintroduced ploughing in 2012; and he began his organic conversion in 2018. Today, he works on 6 hectares of vines around Villedommange and produces artisanal champagnes that express the local terroir and his passion for his craft!
