Winegrowers in Champagne since 1991 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, it was in 2009 that Michelle and Laurent Bénard embarked on organic certification with the Champagne Laurent Bénard brand, a symbol of the fulfillment of their personal convictions. Already eager to give free expression to their terroir with little intervention, this method of cultivation is consistent with their sensitivity and allows them to offer increasingly rich and complex tasting prospects. The work of winegrower is a constant questioning which will lead them to open up to other ways and to enlarge their surface in organic farming with in particular Charles Bénard, representative of the 4th generation of winegrowers of the domain.

Produced from the chalky soil of the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and the surrounding villages, Laurent and Michelle mainly offer vintage, low-dosage, non-chaptalized and non-sulfited champagnes.
