For the third consecutive year, an ACB delegation hit the road 🚗 at the beginning of the year to explore a vineyard. In 2026, the ACB set its sights on Sancerre, an iconic vineyard in the Loire region, and went to meet colleagues committed to organic farming. 🍃

Over three days, the programme combined visits to renowned wine estates, fine dining đŸœ and rich and stimulating technical exchanges.

This itinerary, carefully orchestrated by our administrator and organiser @philippe.lancelot, began on Wednesday 21 January in Sancerre 📍. After lunch at @lapetitemaison_sancerre, the Champagne delegation visited the Nicolas Millet and @francois_crochet_sancerre estates in BuĂ©, before continuing the afternoon at the @luc_prieur estate in Verdigny. đŸ·

The day ended with a dinner at La Tour, a warm and festive occasion 🎉 as it was the birthday of our dear administrator @horiotolivier! đŸŽ‚đŸ„‚

On Thursday 22 January, the group explored the terroirs of Sancerre, Menetou and Morogues. 🌄 Early in the morning, the delegation set off to visit an iconic Sancerre estate, the @jdovacheron estate, before sharing a convivial and delicious meal prepared by the Jean Teiller estate in Menetou. â˜ș
The afternoon continued between Menetou and Morogues, with visits to the Jean Teiller and PelĂ© estates. 🍇
To round off Saint Vincent’s Day in style, the winegrowers gathered for dinner at the @pommeorsancerre restaurant in Sancerre. đŸœđŸ·

Finally, Friday 23rd January was devoted to technical matters. The morning was spent at SICAVAC in Sancerre, with a presentation by François Dal, followed by a comparative tasting on various themes: clones and mass selections, organic and biodynamic preparations, rare grape varieties, etc.đŸŸ

After lunch at Le Chat in Cosne-sur-Loire, the delegation was welcomed by Antoine, from the Domaine du Bouchot in Saint-Andelain, for a tasting of his Sauvignon Blancs.🍇

🙏 A huge thank you to all the estates and organisations that welcomed us.
