Presentation :

Brother and sister of the fourth generation of winegrowers, Mélanie and Jean-Rémi are delighted to take over the family estate, located in the heart of their unique terroir, one of the largest meanders of the Marne. The majority of the vineyard was planted by their parents, who expanded it from 1 hectare to 7.5 hectares over more than 20 years. Today, it is their turn to take on a new challenge: becoming the first generation to craft their own Champagnes. Committed to organic viticulture, they completed their first fully certified organic harvest in September 2022. Their ambition is to showcase the uniqueness of each of their plots while preserving the biodiversity of their terroir. To achieve this, they practice grass cover in the rows and hoeing under the vines. Some plots are even cultivated with their own draft horse. In winemaking, they embrace a minimalist approach and extended aging before bottling. Barrels, 350 to 600-liter demi-muids, ovoid concrete tanks, enamel, or stainless steel: each plot is vinified in the vessel best suited to enhance its character. This method allows them to combine freedom and creativity in their blends.
