Since the 16th century, the Carreau family values have very much remained the same. Our ‘savoir-faire’ and our 6 hectares of vineyard have been handed down from father to son and now, from father to daughter. For 12 years Lionel and his daughter Oriane have been working together in harmony with Nature: focusing intently on the well-being of the vines; paying careful attention to the development of the vegetation and to the nuances of the weather, and all the while intervening as little as possible so as to conserve Mother Nature in her pristine state on which all their efforts depend. Year after year they work the land, adapt their working practices, and develop their wine-making skills in to imbue their champagnes with their most precious contribution: their passion. Today, thanks to this continuous collaboration, Oriane is delighted to unveil her organic champagne collection. These three cuvées reflect the three pillars of the Carreau vision: the character of individual plots, exceptional vintage years and rare grape varieties. Each of the three cuvées in the Champagne Dame de Carreau range has its own unique personality that embodies the terroir of the South Champagne region; la Côte des Bar.
