Presentation :
Family of winegrowers since the 17th century, the brand was founded in 1929 by Fernand VAUVERSIN. The House, specializing in pure Chardonnay champagnes, exclusively cultivates this emblematic grape variety from the Côte des Blancs. It grows on the chalky soil and in the cool climate of the OGER village classified as Grand Cru. A vineyard requiring a lot of attention where it is necessary to take care manually of each vine plant. The plots are enriched with diversified seedlings (cereals, legumes, flowers, etc.), more perennial plantations of aromatics (lavender, rosemary, sage, etc.) and various tree species. At the end of the summer, the grapes from these plots will follow a mild vinification, where each step will be carefully followed. The cuvées are reasoned from the vine, then follow a specific vinification process giving a marked individuality to each of them.
